Sidi Dina Womens Cycling Jersey (Blue/White)
This product was added to our catalog on July 15, 2014.
Sidi partnered with Italian clothing designers, Castelli, to create the Dina collection of Women's cycling apparel. With the highest quality advanced fabrics and fit that have made Castelli's jerseys so popular with recreational and professional cyclists alike, the new Dina Jersey is ready for all of your big rides ahead.
The Dina was constructed from Castelli's proprietary Prosecco Strada fabric. This material was selected for its controlled stretch, light-weight, and incredible comfort. The controlled stretch of the fabric creates a supportive compression-like fit that slightly dampens the fatigue-inducing effects of road vibration in order to keep you feeling strong on long rides. In addition to this, Castelli also gave the jersey its patented Prosecco treatment, which is a topical hydrophilic treatment that pulls moisture off of the skin and disperses it over a large surface area for rapid evaporation. This exclusive microfiber fabric maintains the jersey's sleek fit, even when the fabric becomes wet, keeping you cool and dry to enjoy your ride and not chill your bones on long descents. For the side panels, lightweight mesh inserts were added, creating a fine-gauge surface raised off of your skin. Essentially, this means that you have built-in air vents that keep you cool and vent unwanted moisture.
For the fit, the Dina was cut to a race style. Accordingly, the seams are shaped to the female body while it's in the cycling position, and the jersey incorporates what Castelli calls "set-in" sleeves. This means that the seams have been shifted to allow the sleeves to be inset in order to match the position of forward reach to the bars. By doing this, Castelli eliminates unwanted bunching, pulling, and the abrasion that comes as a result.
The Dina was finished off with a full-length zipper, a smooth elastic gripper at the waist, and three pockets on the lower rear panel to store all of your ride essentials. Sidi logos are featured throughout, along with a small Castelli scorpion logo just above the front right hem.
