SRAM 31.8mm MTB Garmin QuickView Mount
Looks like it's going to hold my Garmin Edge 500 much more securely than the elastic-band mount that came with the Garmin.

Biggest complaint is the lack of grip on the handlebar! The smooth plastic back slid pretty easily around the handlebar, even with the screw as tight as I dared make it without starting to strip/break. It would never have stayed in place while mountain biking or even road biking on anything other than a perfectly flat surface.

Fortunately, I had some rubber backing left over from my old Cateye computer mount. After placing that between the SRAM mount and the handlebar, there's no sliding at all with the screw tightened to a normal level.

I realize I shouldn't have expected much considering the price point, but I don't think I was out of bounds to expect the mount to secure firmly without having to scavenge old backing material.
